Lego Game Boy price, release date and piece count appear online
The first Lego Nintendo handheld is coming this October

More details about the upcoming Lego Game Boy set have appeared online, including the price.
The news comes from FalconBrick Studios, an Instagram account with a long track record of posting information about Lego sets before it is publically shared.
The account claims that the set will be released on October 1, will cost $59.99 and will include 421 pieces. In comparison with other branded Lego, this is somewhat more expensive than is typical.
For example, the Lego Harry Potter Knightbus Adventure set, which includes 499 pieces, costs $49.99.

Reports of this information usually appear very shortly before Lego officially unveils the product and opens pre-orders, so the first official images of the set are likely to appear online soon.
The Game Boy is the second Lego set based on a Nintendo game console, but the first to be based on a handheld.
The Lego NES was released in August 2020 for $229.99 / £209.99. The set includes a brick-built NES model and accompanying 1980’s style television set, complete with scrolling Super Mario Bros scene.
Nintendo has also released Lego sets based on its various game franchises, including Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda and Mario Kart.
Last year, it released a Lego set based on the Super Nintendo game Super Mario World. This was followed by the Lego The Legend of Zelda: Great Deku tree set.
