Lego Fortnite set images appear online ahead of release this year
Update: Lego Fortnite sets are now available to pre-order
Images and pricing details for four Lego Fortnite sets have appeared online.
The images and details, which are circulating on social media and were first shared by Fateful_Lego, have likely leaked in advance of an official announcement.
The four sets are the Battle Bus ($99/£99), Peely Bone ($99/£99), Supply Llama ($39.99/£39.99) and Durr Burger ($14.99/£14.99). The Battle Bus set will include nine minifigures representing some of the game’s most iconic skins.
Update
The Lego Fortnite sets are now available to pre-order.
The minifigures come with accessories like pickaxes and in-game items like Chug Jugs. No traditional guns are included in the set. Lego typically refrains from including more adult weaponry in sets, and only does so in sets aimed at an older audience, when editorially justified by the set.
The Battle Bus set is aimed at 10+, meaning it will instead lean towards the more fantastical elements of Fortnite’s weaponry. The sets will be released on October 1.
While these are the first full Lego sets produced using the Fortnite license, Lego has been a large part of Fortnite for some time. The game currently features a Lego mode in which players can build structures, farm for materials, and more.
Lego versions of hundreds of Fortnite skins have also been added to the game for use in the mode. In the case of licensed skins in Fortnite that have Lego versions, such as the Star Wars skins, Epic has included the Lego versions of those characters for players that previously purchased the skin.
