Lara Croft is coming to Call of Duty as an Operator in September

Lara Croft will be coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone next month.

The Tomb Raider protagonist will be arriving as an Operator as part of the Season 5 Reloaded content drop, which will also include rapper 21 Savage and Mace from the first Modern Warfare.

Lara will be available as a Store Bundle, which will be released on September 8.

The Tracer Pack: Tomb Raider Operator Bundle will also include three Weapon Blueprints – an Ice Axe melee weapon, the ‘Mythic Defender’ SMG and her trademark Mach-5 dual pistols.

It also comes with a Tomb Buggy vehicle skin for the Chop Top, a Loading Screen, a Sticker and an Emblem.

Rapper 21 Savage will be added to the game on August 30 in his own Tracer Pack bundle, while a third Operator bundle featuring Mace from Modern Warfare will arrive later in September.

The trio follow Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg, who were added to the game earlier this month as part of an in-game celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of hip-hop.

Earlier this month, Activision announced that most of the content collected in Modern Warfare II and the current version of Warzone will be accessible in Modern Warfare 3.

This includes “weapons and cosmetic content, including Bundles, Operators, and other rewards and unlocks from the game”, meaning players who buy Lara Croft or any of the other Operators will still be able to use them in the next game.

All Operators and Operator Skins a player has unlocked in Modern Warfare 2 will also carry forward to Modern Warfare 3. This includes content that is longer available to purchase or was only available for a timed period (i.e. during a season), though new players won’t be able to access these.

Activision finally officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 earlier this month, following a series of leaks. The game will be released on November 10.
