June’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles have been announced
Subscribers can claim Adios and The Vale: Shadow of the Crown next month
Microsoft has announced June 2023’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles.
On Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, subscribers will be able to claim Adios (normally $17.99 / £14.99) from June 1-30.
Developed and published by Mischief, Adios is a cinematic first-person game about a pig farmer sticking to a complicated decision, namely that he no longer wants to dispose of bodies for the mob.
The Vale: Shadow of the Crown (normally $19.99/ £16.74) will then be available as a free download from June 16 to July 15.
“The Vale: Shadow of the Crown is a story driven, action-adventure that utilizes the full potential of 3D audio and haptic controller feedback to deliver visceral gameplay that shatters the barrier between player and character,” according to its Xbox store listing.
“As an audio based game, The Vale sets out to breathe new life into medieval combat and provide a truly novel experience for visually impaired and sighted gamers alike.”
May’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles include Star Wars Episode 1 Racer (expires tomorrow) and puzzle-platformer Hoa (available until June 15).
Xbox Games with Gold stopped including Xbox 360 titles in October 2022.
“We have reached the limit of our ability to bring new games to the catalog from the past due to licensing and technical constraints,” Microsoft explained.
Earlier today the company confirmed the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
