June’s 2021’s PlayStation Plus and PS Now games include a Virtua Fighter 5 remaster
Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango will also be available to PS Plus subscribers
Sony has officially revealed June 2021’s PlayStation Plus games.
Confirming an earlier leak, next month’s PlayStation Plus games are Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, Star War: Squadrons, and PS5 spy adventure Operation Tango.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to access all three titles at no additional cost beginning on June 1.
Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation Tango will be available for members to download until July 5, while Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown will be available until August 2.
Virtua Fighter: Ultimate Showdown, which is also coming to PlayStation Now in June, is billed as “a feature-rich remaster” handled by Yakuza and Judgment developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio.
“Debuting on PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, both Virtua Fighter veterans and newcomers will be able to test all-new online modes such as ranked matches, tournaments and leagues, while enjoying overhauled visuals and redesigned UI,” Sony said.
This month’s PlayStation Plus games are Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Battlefield V and Stranded Deep. They’re available to subscribers until May 31.
PlayStation Plus subscribers totalled 47.6 million as of March 31, 2021, according to Sony.
