June 2021’s PlayStation Now games include The Witcher 3 and a trio of Sonic titles
Virtua Fighter: 5 Ultimate Showdown, Slay the Spire and Car Mechanic Simulator will also be available
Sony has announced June 2021’s PlayStation Now games.
As previously reported, Virtua Fighter: 5 Ultimate Showdown will join the subscription service until July 5, while The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition will be available until September 6.
Slay the Spire will join PlayStation Now until December 6, while Car Mechanic Simulator, Team Sonic Racing, Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces will seemingly be longer-term additions to the service.
The new PlayStation Now games will be playable from June 1.
PlayStation Now’s software library includes over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games streamable to PS5, PS4 or PC, and over 300 PS4 titles which can be downloaded and played on consoles.
Sony slashed PlayStation Now prices in October 2019 in a bid to be more competitive with rival streaming services. It also began adding “blockbuster” games each month, which are available for a limited time.
The company said last week that PlayStation Now had 3.2 million subscribers as of March 2021, up from 1.8 million a year earlier.
Sony recently confirmed that June 2021’s PlayStation Plus games will also include Virtua Fighter: 5 Ultimate Showdown, plus Star War: Squadrons and PS5 spy adventure Operation Tango.
