Trainer’s Pokemon return to Pokemon TCG in Journey Together

‘Journey Together’ with trainer’s Pokemon return as next TCG set is revealed

The next Pokémon Trading Card Game set has been fully revealed.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Scarlet & Violet Journey Together will reintroduce trainer’s Pokémon . As the name suggests, trainer’s Pokémon are cards that feature both a Pokémon and their in-game trainer, such as N’s Zoroark.

This mechanic was first introduced near the beginning of the TCG’s life with the Gym Heroes set. The set will be sold in traditional booster boxes, as well as Elite Trainer Boxs, collection boxes, and the rest of the Pokemon TCG’s standard offering. This is not being treated as a special set, like January’s Prismatic Evolutions.

The Pokémon Trading Card Game Scarlet & Violet Journey Together set will be released on March 28.

“With deep trust and steady guidance, Trainers help bring out the best in their Pokémon,” the set’s official description reads. “The bond they share empowers them to act as one in battle as they push their strength to the limit, including as Pokémon ex!

“Team up with N’s Zoroark ex, lono’s Bellibolt ex, Lillie’s Clefairy ex, Hop’s Zacian ex, and more Trainer’s Pokémon, and discover the unstoppable power of friendship in the Pokémon TCG: Scarlet & Violet-Journey Together expansion.”

An update to a Pokémon game may have accidentally revealed an upcoming Pokémon Presents presentation.

The next game in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends Z-A, was announced during Pokémon Presents last February.

Set for release in 2025, it will be the second Pokémon Legends game following Pokémon Legends Arceus. Pokémon Legends Z-A will see players revisit the Kalos region and Lumoise City.
