January’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now available

January’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are now live.

This month’s PlayStation Plus Essential titles are Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League (PS5), Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered (PS4) and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe (PS4, PS5).

PlayStation Plus members can claim all three games until February 3, after which they’ll be replaced by a new set of titles.

As ever, January’s Essential games are available for anyone with a PlayStation Plus membership, regardless of tier.

They will remain in the player’s library for as long as they continue to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If their subscription ends, so too will access to the games, but rejoining the service will make them available again.

Subscribers to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers also receive access to the Game Catalog, a library of downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles.

December’s Game Catalog titles include Sonic Frontiers, Forspoken and Rabbids: Party of Legends.

PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a range of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.

December’s additions to the Classics Catalog were PS2 games Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.

Earlier today, Sony announced a Midnight Black collection of PS5 accessories including the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite headphones and Pulse Explore earbuds. It also cut the price of the DualSense Edge controller in Europe.
