It looks like Elden Ring Nightreign DLC will include bosses and playable characters
FromSoftware is seemingly thinking about the future of Elden Right Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign will seemingly receive extra bosses and playable characters via DLC, according to now-removed text on the game’s Steam page.
Elden Ring Nightreign will see bosses from across the Souls series return, and include new bosses exclusive to Nightreign. But now, it seems that FromSoftware is planning to bring additional bosses, and playable characters to the game.
The Steam page for the upcoming game briefly included text referring to “Additional playable characters and bosses.”
While this text was removed, but captured by PC Gamer, it’s possible that it was only removed because the information surrounding the DLC wasn’t planned to be announced yet.
Previous Souls titles have featured DLC, usually in the form or a large expansion, such as Elden Ring‘s Shadow of the Erdtree.
Elden Ring Nightreign will see players play as bespoke characters, rather than create their own, so it’s possible this DLC will add more of those character options.
Elden Ring Nightreign will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC on May 30.
Over the weekend, Elden Ring Nightreign held its first closed network test, however, technical issues meant that thousands of players who attempted to log on to play the game couldn’t do so.
Based on the world of Elden Ring, Nightreign ditches the lengthy single-player adventure for a fast-paced co-op action game with roguelike elements.
Each run takes place over three nights (meaning a total time of around 30-45 minutes) with a map that’s continually getting smaller, battle royale style. Players – either alone or in groups of three – choose one of eight classes and have to survive all three nights, culminating in a final boss fight.
Released in February 2022, Elden Ring is comfortably From Software’s biggest commercial hit, having shipped over 25 million copies according to its developer.
Players in Elden Ring Nightreign won’t be able to leave messages for players or read those left by other players.
