IO is bringing PSVR support to Hitman’s current trilogy

The third game in the trilogy is due in January

IO Interactive has announced it will bring PSVR support to all three Hitman games in the current trilogy.

Hitman 3 was announced for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC earlier this year.

IO Interactive’s sequel will take Agent 47 to six locations including Dubai when the game is released in January 2021.

“Hitman 3 has a much darker tone than the previous games in the trilogy”, said director Mattias Engström in a prepared statement. “On top of the core Hitman experience, we are mixing in some surprise elements, an evocative atmosphere and a very real sense of closure.”

IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak added: “I am immensely proud and excited to announce Hitman 3.

“This game will be self-published by IOI and will come directly from us to our passionate fanbase. The entire IOI team is ready and determined to deliver a pinnacle Hitman experience.”
