Immortals Fenyx Rising DLC will include a new world and story based on Chinese mythology
Season pass will feature three expansions
Ubisoft has detailed Immortals Fenyx Rising’s post launch content roadmap.
Developed by Assassin’s Creed Odyssey studio Ubisoft Quebec, Immortals Fenyx Rising (formerly Gods & Monsters) is an open-world action adventure game about a forgotten hero on a quest to save the Greek gods.
It will be released on December 3 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch, Stadia, Amazon Luna and PC via the Epic Games Store and Uplay.
Free in-game events, weekly dungeon challenges and daily quests are planned for all players post-release. A season pass sold separately will include a bonus quest and three story-driven expansions, which are shown off in the following trailer.
A New God will introduce new types of puzzles as Fenyx ascends to Olympos to take on a series of trials built by the gods in a bid earn a place among the Inner Circle of the Pantheon.
Myths of the Eastern Realm will see players take control of a new hero, martial artist Ku, in a story inspired by Chinese mythology. It will feature a new open world with its own deities and exotic monsters.
The Lost Gods will return to the Greek mythological setting and introduce another hero, Ash. It will mix things up with the introduction of a top-down isometric perspective and brawler-style combat complemented by a new customisable upgrade system.
