Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero will be free on Epic Games store next week
Games set to replace current free offering, 3D puzzle game Gnog
Hyper Light Drifter and Mutant Year Zero will be free to download from the Epic Games store later in August.
Alan Wake and For Honor are currently free on Epic’s PC storefront until Friday August 9.
3D puzzle title Gnog is also currently available to download free of charge until August 15.
It’ll then be replaced by Heart Machine’s 2D action RPG Hyper Light Drifter, and Bearded Ladies’ turn-based tactical adventure game Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, which will be free to download until August 22.
Epic originally launched a bi-monthly free game offer alongside the PC storefront in December 2018, but it said in mid-May that it was increasing the frequency of the offer to one free game per week.
Titles offered for free have included Limbo, This War of Mine, Moonlighter, Overcooked, World of Goo, Transistor and The Witness.
Epic previously said there had been more than 25 million free game installs as of May 2019.
