Enhance’s Humanity has been dated and it’s coming to PlayStation Plus on day 1
It will be available as part of May’s PS Plus Game Catalogue line-up
Enhance has announced a May 16, 2023 release date for its action-puzzle game Humanity.
The title will be released for PS5, PS4 and PC via Steam, with optional VR support on all platforms. It will also be available on day one as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue’s May line-up.
A new release date trailer, which is viewable below, recreates the Japanese PlayStation ad campaigns of the PS1 and PS2 eras.
Humanity sees players controlling a Shiba Inu, a breed of hunting dog from Japan, and charged with “commanding massive, marching crowds to jump, turn, push, float, shoot, and climb their way to salvation”.
The game was announced during a PlayStation State of Play presentation in February, when a limited-time demo was also released.
“Guide the masses through levels (10 in the demo, 90-plus stages in the full game Story Mode) filled with obstacles, enemies, puzzles, and unlockable skills, or browse a wide array of user-made challenges (or build your own!) crafted via the super-easy-to-use in-game Stage Creator,” Enhance said at the time.
April’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles were released on Tuesday.
This month’s releases include Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Doom Eternal, Riders Republic, The Evil Within, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Paradise Killer and Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
