How to watch today’s World of Warcraft expansion reveal
Tuesday’s live stream begins at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST
Blizzard is set to reveal the next World of Warcraft expansion today.
The company is holding an online event on Tuesday which promises to offer “a sneak peek” at the expansion, which may be called Dragonflight based on an apparent leak.
Players will be able to watch the reveal live stream on YouTube and Twitch, including via the video embedded at the top of this page, starting at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST / 6pm CEST.
UPDATE: Blizzard has announced the next World of Warcraft expansion, Dragonflight, and World of Warcraft Lich King Classic.
ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: World of Warcraft, which has received a new expansion roughly every two years since its 2004 launch, last got one in November 2020 in the form of Shadowlands.
“With the story in the Shadowlands coming to a conclusion, the time is at hand to get a sneak peek at what’s next for the heroes of Azeroth,” Blizzard said last week.
Wowhead reported earlier this month that the next World of Warcraft expansion may be called Dragonflight.
Following an update to the World of Warcraft website, its public source code reveals strings for the Dragonflight Base, Heroic and Epic expansion pre-purchases. It also points to a new, albeit currently inaccessible URL, dragonflight.blizzard.com.

Wowhead also previously datamined several items which appeared as if they could be rewards tied to the new expansion, including a green or emerald dragon mount.
Blizzard is also thought to be working on World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
And in May, it will offer a preview of Warcraft’s first game built from the ground up for mobile, which is scheduled for release later this year.
