Horizon Zero Dawn joins the PlayStation Now library permanently
December’s PS Now games also include Stranded Deep, Broforce and Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last
Sony has announced December’s new PlayStation Now games.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, which includes the Frozen Wilds expansion, is the headline addition, with Guerrilla’s open-world action RPG joining the subscription service on a permanent basis.
The standard version of Horizon was previously available to PS Now subscribers for a limited time.
Stranded Deep, Broforce, The Surge 2 and Darksiders III have also joined PS Now on a permanent basis, while Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last is available until May 31, 2021.
PlayStation Now’s software library includes more than 300 PS4 titles which can be downloaded and played on the console, and over 700 PS2, PS3 and PS4 games streamable to PS5, PS4 or PC.
Sony slashed PlayStation Now prices in October 2019 in a bid to be more competitive with rival streaming services. It also began adding “blockbuster” games each month, which are available for a limited time.
This year’s new PlayStation Now arrivals include Days Gone, MediEvil, Control, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Spider-Man, Just Cause 4, Rainbow Six Siege, The Evil Within 2, Metro Exodus, Dishonored 2, Watch Dogs 2, Street Fighter V, and Hitman 2.
PlayStation Now had over 2.2 million subscribers as of April 2020, according to Sony – up from one million in October 2019.
December’s PlayStation Plus games also launched today, including Worms Rumble for PS5, Just Cause 4 and Rocket Arena.
