Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition is reportedly the first PlayStation 5 game to ship on two discs.

Set for release on console on October 6 and on PC in early 2024, the title includes the base game, its Burning Shores expansion, and digital bonuses including a soundtrack, artbook, comic book and in-game items.

According to an image of the game’s box published by the Does it play? Twitter account, the title weighs in at 121GB and comes on two discs.

As noted by Push Square, February 2021’s The Nioh Collection also shipped on two discs for PS5, although it included two games, with one on each Blu-ray.

Square Enix recently announced that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will ship on two discs when it’s released for PS5 in February 2024.

Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition is priced at $59.99 / €69.99 / ¥7,980.

Announcing the title last week, Guerrilla Games said the PC version is being developed in partnership with fellow Sony studio Nixxes Software. It will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store.

Horizon Forbidden West was released for PS4 and PS5 in February 2022 and had sold 8.4 million copies by April 2023, according to Guerrilla.

It sees series protagonist Aloy racing to save the planet’s crumbling biosphere before vicious storms and a mysterious plant disease ravage humanity.

The Burning Shores expansion, which wasn’t released for PS4, sees machine hunter Aloy travel to the ruins of Los Angeles in order to track down information about the ancient progenitor race that she battled in the main game.
