Horizon Forbidden West actor appears to tease DLC plans in since-deleted tweet
Lance Reddick is doing new motion capture work for the PlayStation game
Horizon Forbidden West star Lance Reddick has seemingly confirmed plans for upcoming DLC in a since-deleted tweet.
The actor, who plays the character Sylens in the Horizon series, recently revealed he was doing new motion capture work for the PlayStation sequel which released earlier this year.
“Hard at work… in a session for Horizon Forbidden West,” Reddick tweeted.
While the message has since been deleted, images of Reddick’s tweet and a video which accompanied it can still be viewed online.
Horizon Forbidden West was released for PS4 and PS5 in February 2022.
The game’s predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn, was released in February 2017 and received its one and only expansion, The Frozen Wilds, in November of the same year.
Sony is planning to release a remaster of PS4 title Horizon Zero Dawn for PS5, according to a report published on Sunday by MP1ST, which VGC has corroborated.
The updated version of Guerrilla Games’ title will feature improved visuals to bring it up to par with this year’s sequel, in the form of new character models, lighting and animations, it’s claimed.
In addition, the new version of Zero Dawn will reportedly add accessibility features, graphics modes and quality of life improvements to the gameplay itself.
The MP1ST report also claims that Guerrilla is currently working on a Horizon multiplayer game for PS5 and PC, which matches what VGC reported last year.
Sony announced in May that it’s working on a TV adaptation of Horizon, which will be released on Netflix.
