Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal has been dated for Nintendo Switch

Feral Interactive has announced a Nintendo Switch release date for its updated version of Hitman: Blood Money.

Following the game’s iOS and Android release last year, Hitman: Blood Money – Reprisal will arrive on Nintendo’s console on January 25, 2024.

It will normally be priced at $29.99 / £19.99 / €24.99, but a 15% discount is available for players who pre-order the game ahead of this month’s release.

IO Interactive’s stealth-action game Hitman: Blood Money was originally released for PC, PS2 and Xbox consoles in 2006, and later updated for other platforms.

“Reprisal is a comprehensive reworking of the stealth-action classic, refined for screens large and small — with a new Minimap, Instinct Mode, and gameplay improvements inspired by later games in the series,” according to Feral.

“Whether docked or handheld, classic controls or modern layout, the sandbox assassination playgrounds of Hitman: Blood Money fit the Switch like a beautifully tailored suit.”

While IO Interactive plans to continue evolving its Hitman World of Assassination trilogy, it said last March that the next major entry in its best known franchise has taken a backseat for the time being.

The company announced in November 2020 that it was developing an officially licensed James Bond game. With the working title Project 007, it will feature an original origin story for the secret agent.

And last February, IO confirmed that’s it’s working on an online fantasy RPG, which could be published by Microsoft for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
