Hitman 3’s Season of Pride content roadmap has been revealed
New gear, items and Escalation contracts available today
IO Interactive has revealed Hitman 3’s content roadmap for May 10 to June 13.
Following on from the Season of Greed, the Season of Pride is the second act in Hitman 3’s Seven Deadly Sins DLC.
Available today priced at $4.99/£4.19, Seven Deadly Sins Act 2: Pride lets players unlock new gear and items including The Proud Swashbuckler sword, The Majestic gun and the Narcissus Suit, by playing the Pride Profusion Escalation.
In terms of free content, a new Dubai-based Escalation contract called The Sebastian Principle launches today, although IO said it has been designed as “a tutorial (of sorts)” and so “isn’t aimed at experienced players”.
The Iconoclast is the game’s next Elusive Target (a new character added to existing locations for a limited time, which players have just one chance to take out). The Iconoclast will be available in Mendoza for 12 days beginning on May 12.
The Icon (Sapienza) will be a free location available to all Hitman 3 players, including Hitman 3 Free Starter Pack users, from May 14-23, as will Paris from May 28 until June 6.
This overlaps with the season’s second Elusive Target, the Black Hat Hacker, who will be available in Paris from June 4-13.
Escalation contract The Pasqual Consortium also arrives on May 27 and sees players tasked with taking control of a sniper’s nest in Mendoza to eliminate targets.
Today’s new content launches alongside Hitman 3’s latest major update, which takes the game to version 3.30. It includes a multitude of changes and fixes (see the full patch notes).
In addition to an officially licensed James Bond game, it has been claimed that IO Interactive is working on a new “dragon-themed IP” that will be published by Microsoft for Xbox and PC.
