Hitman 3’s Year 2 content will be revealed in a presentation this week
A stream on January 13 will reveal the plans for the upcoming second season of content
A stream revealing the content planned for Hitman 3‘s second year of content will be broadcast this week.
IO Interactive will be showing the stream on the official Hitman YouTube Channel on January 13 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT.
The stream will take the form of a pre-recorded presentation, and will last 15 minutes.
According to IO’s announcement, the stream will be “packed full of announcements, reveals and never-before-seen footage of new content coming to the World of Assassination in 2022”.
Year 2 of Hitman 3 content will start on January 20, and this week’s presentation is set to reveal such new features as Elusive Target Arcade, a VR PC version and a new game mode.
VGC’s Hitman 3 review praised the game for its art design and entertaining assassination opportunities, but said it was let down somewhat by its final level.
“Wobbly conclusion aside, it’s a must for existing fans and a great introduction to gaming’s boldest, baldest stealth series,” our critic wrote.
The game has since received a seven-part paid DLC expansion called Seven Deadly Sins, which started in March 2021 and arrived in monthly instalments until the end of October.
In addition to an officially licensed James Bond game, it has been claimed that IO Interactive is working on a new “dragon-themed IP” that will be published by Microsoft for Xbox and PC.
