High on Life trailer teases upcoming DLC
‘High on Knife’ is coming to PC and Xbox consoles later this year
Squanch Games has released the first trailer for upcoming High on Life DLC ‘High on Knife’.
Taking the game in a horror-comedy direction, the DLC stars Knifey, a bloodthirsty melee weapon voiced by Michael Cusack.
It also introduces a new character/gun, Harper, voiced by Sarah Sherman (Saturday Night Live).
Set two years after the main game ended, High on Knife will be released for PC and Xbox consoles this fall / autumn.
The High of Knife trailer below premiered during Tuesday’s Xbox Games Showcase Extended stream.
High On Life was released for PC and Xbox in December 2022 and was available on Xbox Game Pass at release.
At launch the game broke several notable engagement records. According to Microsoft, it was the subscription service’s biggest launch of 2022, the biggest third-party launch of all time, and the biggest release of a single player-only game.
High On Life has surpassed 7.5 million unique players since launch, Mike Fridley, Squanch Games CEO and studio director, said in a new Xbox Wire post.
Rick & Morty creator Justin Roiland resigned from Squanch, the development studio he co-founded, in January after it emerged that he was facing domestic violence charges.
