Hideo Kojima’s YouTube video series returns today after 7 years with a 50-minute special episode

New episode of ‘HideoTube’ promises fresh insights on Kojima Productions’ upcoming games

Hideo Kojima is reviving his ‘HideoTube’ YouTube series today with its first new video in seven years.

The 50-minute episode promises fresh insights on Kojima Productions’ upcoming games and media projects.

It will be published on YouTube on Friday at 10am GMT / 2am PT / 5pm ET, and you’ll be able to watch it live via the video embedded at the top of this page.

“The program includes more insights into the latest trailer for the recently announced Death Stranding: On the Beach, recently announced titles OD and Physint (working title), the upcoming documentary Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, and even the live-action film produced with A24,” Kojima Production said.

“This 50-minute special focuses on various topics recently announced by Kojima Productions through discussion with Hideo Kojima and special guests, Risa Unai and Kenjiro Tsuda.”

It was announced last week that Kojima Productions will be releasing a “next-generation action espionage game” for PlayStation. Appearing on the latest State of Play presentation, Kojima said Physint “will be a brand new, original IP”.

During the Sony event, Kojima Productions also released a new 10-minute trailer for Death Stranding 2 and revealed the game’s full title.

Xbox exclusive OD, which was previously known as Overdose, was officially introduced at The Game Awards in December, along with a teaser trailer showing close-ups of actors’ faces.

Kojima Productions also announced in December that it has teamed up with A24 to bring a live-action film adaptation of Death Stranding to the big screen.
