Here’s all the big news from the Summer Game Fest show
Prince of Persia, Sonic Superstars, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and more
This year’s main Summer Game Fest presentation has now ended.
A number of new games were announced over the course of its two-hour runtime, as well as new trailers for previously known titles.
Retro fans were treated to new 2.5D games in the Sonic and Prince of Persia franchises, while gorehounds got the first Mortal Kombat 1 footage and a new game from horror legend John Carpenter.
Meanwhile, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth got a new trailer, along with news that it will arrive on two discs.
The show was then followed by Day of the Devs, an indie presentation showing off 15 interesting games from around the world, and after that came the latest comedy presentation from Devolver Digital.
