Hades, NBA 2K22, Edith Finch, Twelve Minutes and others leave Game Pass this month
10 titles will be removed from the subscription service on August 31
Microsoft has confirmed that 10 titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of the month.
The list of games leaving on August 31 arguably includes more notable titles than usual, including the award-winning Hades.
Another critically acclaimed title, What Remains of Edith Finch, will also be leaving the service just weeks after it received an Xbox Series X/S update.
NBA 2K22, which was added to Game Pass in April to coincide with the NBA Playoffs, will also be removed.
Joining it will be Two Point Hospital, the spiritual successor to Theme Hospital, which leaves Game Pass just as its own follow-up Two Point Campus arrives on the service.
Annapurna Interactive‘s controversial time-shifting game Twelve Minutes is also leaving Game Pass.
The full list of titles due to be removed from Game Pass on August 31 is as follows:
- Elite Dangerous
- Hades
- Myst
- NBA 2K22
- Signs of the Sojourner
- Spiritfarer
- Twelve Minutes
- Two Point Hospital
- What Remains of Edith Finch
- World War Z
Microsoft announced today that eight new titles would be added to Game Pass between now and the end of August.
The likes of Coffee Talk, Immortals Fenyx Rising, Midnight Fight Express and Commandos 3 HD Remaster will be joining the service as the above titles leave it.
Xbox is currently testing a Game Pass ‘family plan’ which lets Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members share their membership with multiple users.
The programme, which is currently being tested by Xbox Insider members in Ireland and Colombia, lets users “add up to four people to [their] subscription, all with their own unique access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate games, content, and benefits,” according to Microsoft.
