GTA V tops European PlayStation Store downloads in December
While Modern Warfare holds the top spot on the US digital chart
Grand Theft Auto V claimed the top spot on the European PlayStation Store download chart in December.
Rockstar’s five-year-old title came in ahead of FIFA 20 and November’s No.1 game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, to lead the digital PS4 chart in Europe last month.
In the US, Activision’s shooter held off competition from GTA V and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to retain the top spot on December’s PS4 download chart.
Beat Saber topped the monthly PlayStation VR chart in both Europe and the US, while Fortnite dominated the free-to-play and DLC rankings.

Sony is currently running PlayStation Store sales in the US and Europe. In the US it’s offering up to 50% off more than 1,500 titles until January 16, while Europeans can save up to 70% on over 800 PS4 games until January 17.
January’s PlayStation Plus games, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator, are now free for subscribers until February 3.
