Take-Two will be releasing remastered next-gen versions of GTA V later this year

Grand Theft Auto V is the latest addition to Xbox Game Pass for console.

It joins Xbox Game Pass after leaving rival subscription service PlayStation Now on January 2.

Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said in November that Rockstar’s blockbuster game has shipped over 115 million units worldwide.

Originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013 before launching for current-gen consoles and PC, it’s reportedly the highest-grossing media title of all time, having brought in over $6 billion.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Live Gold members will also be able to access Grand Theft Auto Online, GTA V’s popular online component.

Microsoft is currently offering three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for $1/£1. The promotion is available until January 6 and excludes existing customers.

Eligible Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members in selected markets will also receive one month of EA Access, three months of Discord Nitro, and six months of Spotify Premium as a free membership bonus.
