Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring has been announced.
The book, which will be published by Tune & Fairweather, was written by Elden Ring lore expert Geoff “SmoughTown” Truscott.
“Prepare for a comprehensive deep dive into the mythology underpinning Miyazaki’s latest masterpiece. Grace Given draws design inspiration from the most prized sacred books of antiquity, culminating in a product that is both a work of scholarship and unparalleled collectible art piece in the same package,” reads a description of the book.
Grace Given: The Mythology of Elden Ring is not an official product from developer FromSoftware or publisher Bandai Namco and is not endorsed by either company.
The book will feature over 500 pages, more than 20 full-colour illustrations by artist Shimhaq, 100+ spot illustrations by artist MenasLG, 25 bespoke chapter-head woodblock-style designs by artist Chris Lewis Lee, plus original marquee artwork from artist Elliott Wells.
It’s expected to be released in early 2025 and is currently available to pre-order. It will be available in three versions. The first, which is listed on the publisher’s website as the Collector’s Edition, will cost $276.
The Limited Edition includes the Collector’s Edition of the book, as well as a collectible art print, hand-signed and numbered by Shimhaq, housed in a foil-blocked custom envelope. The Limited Edition will no longer be able to be purchased after August 10.
Finally, The Benefactor Edition will include all of the above plus a name credit in the back of the book.
