GOG’s Winter Sale is now live and will include 4 free games
CD Projekt says the promotion includes ‘3,500+ deals and up to 90% off’
GOG has launched its Winter Sale, which is now live until January 5 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT.
The sale includes over 3,500+ deals and discounts of up to 90%, according to CD Projekt.
It also plans to give away four games completely free during the sale, starting with Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, which is available as a gift until December 15 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm GMT.

CD Projekt recently said it was reorganising GOG to “focus more on its core business activity, which means offering a hand-picked selection of games with its unique DRM-free philosophy”, following news that it’s been losing money.
The online store launched in 2008 as Good Old Games and focused on a carefully curated collection of older games with no DRM. In the years that have followed it’s become more like other conventional online game stores such as Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Steam will be holding its Winter Sale from December 22 until January 5.
The Epic Games Store’s holiday sale will reportedly run from December 16 until January 6. It’s claimed Epic will also give away 15 games, with one title set to be offered free every day from December 16-30.
