GOG’s Summer Sale has been updated with it latest free game.

RPG card battler Ancient Enemy is available to download for free until June 29 at 6am PT / 9am ET / 2pm BST / 3pm CEST.

While the game has been available on GOG for as little as £2.89 in past 30 days, it currently costs £11.99 on Epic Games Store and £12.79 on Steam.

“Ancient Enemy is a strategic RPG card game in which you make interesting tactical decisions as you battle distorted enemies and overcome challenging puzzles,” according to its GOG listing.

“Face a horde of deadly enemies, each one emerging from a world in which evil has already triumphed. You must not only endure, but also rebuild your powers to vanquish evil and fight one last duel against your monstrous nemesis!

“Travel through a scarred landscape with dozens of atmospheric levels, draw power from the Earth, and struggle for the soul of the world itself. Test your skills against a host of foes in unique solitaire-style turn-based combat!”

Ancient Enemy is the fifth of six games set to be given away during GOG’s Summer Sale, with the final title to follow at the end of this week.

The sale is running until July 3 at 3am PT / 6am ET / 11pm BST (July 4 at 12am CEST).

According to GOG, it currently includes over 5,400 deals and discounts of up to 90%.

PC users can also currently claim The Hunter: Call of the Wild free of charge from Epic Game Store, which will be giving away The Dungeon Of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos later this week too.

Following today’s conclusion of the Steam Next Fest demo event, the Steam Summer Sale begins on June 29.
