GOG has updated its Autumn Sale with another free game
Ghost Master is the third of four titles being given away
GOG’s Autumn Sale has been updated with another free game.
Ghost Master is now free to download until September 7 at 1pm UTC.
To claim the game, players are required to opt in to receive GOG marketing emails.
Developed by Sick Puppies and published by Strategy First, Ghost Master blends tactical strategy and adventure game elements.
The title was released in 2003 and has a score of 81 on review aggregation site Metacritic.
“Scare up some fun in this haunting world inspired by classic horror films like Hellraiser or Ghost Ship,” reads the game’s description on GOG. “You become the Ghost Master in a unique witches brew of strategy, adventure, and ghoulish sim. Your sole purpose is to frighten the mortals right out of town.”
The game is the third of four titles GOG will be giving away during its Autumn Sale, which is running until September 11. Hero of the Kingdom II and King’s Bounty: The Legend were given away previously.
By way of comparison, Ghost Master currently costs $4.99 / £3.99 on Epic Games Store and usually carries the same price tag on Steam, but at the moment it’s discounted by 80%, to $0.99 / £0.79, on Valve’s marketplace.
Classic indie platformer Cave Story+ is free to claim from the Epic Games Store until September 7, and Spelldrifter will be free from September 7-14.
September’s ‘free’ games for Prime Gaming members include Football Manager 2023 and Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space.
