Ghost Recon Breakpoint beta launches in September

Pre-order to gain beta access ahead of the game’s release in October

A beta for tactical shooter Ghost Recon Breakpoint will commence on September 5, Ubisoft confirmed during its E3 briefing.

You can register for a chance to participate, or pre-order the game to get guaranteed access.

With development led by Ubisoft Paris (with support from seven other Ubisoft studios), the second open-world entry in the tactical shooter series will be released on October 4 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Uplay and the Epic Games store.

The game is playable solo or in four-player co-op. Ubisoft also said today that post-launch plans include bringing back AI teammates for solo players, based on community feedback.

Compared to Wildlands, Breakpoint includes “a lot, lot more” content for those playing solo, including more cut-scenes and dialogue options, its developer recently told VGC.

A new community programme, Ghost Recon Delta Company, was also revealed today, with Ubisoft saying it’ll feature cosplay, streaming, fan art, forums and more.
