Gamescom Asia is merging with the Thailand Game Show and moving to Bangkok
The merger will create the region’s biggest gaming event

Koelnmesse has announced that Gamescom Asia and the Thailand Game Show are merging for the region’s largest gaming event.
The new, combined event is scheduled to take place from 16 to 19 October 2025 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand, featuring an “expansive business area, industry gaming conference and an exciting entertainment area,” according to an announcement.
The show is for both developers looking to network and form relationships with wider partners, and players, who will get the chance to try out the latest games.
2024’s Gamescom Asia featured major publishers such as Capcom and Sony.
“This partnership is a game-changer for the region’s games industry,” said Mathias Kuepper, managing director and VP of Asia Pacific at Koelnmesse Pte Ltd.
“Gamescom Asia’s success has been built on a solid foundation in Singapore, where it has flourished since its inception in 2021, positioning Southeast Asia as a hub for gaming innovation.
“By joining forces with the Thailand Game Show, we are unlocking unprecedented opportunities to connect global video game players with one of the world’s most vibrant and passionate gaming communities. With its rich culture and expanding gaming ecosystem, Bangkok is the ideal stage for this exciting next chapter.”
Tickets for the event will go on sale later this year. Those looking to exhibit at the event can apply now.
