Game Boy and GBA games are now on Switch Online
GBA games require an Expansion Pack membership
Nintendo has announced that it will be bringing Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games to Switch Online.
Game Boy and Game Boy Color games will be available via the standard Switch Online subscription.
Game Boy Advance games, meanwhile, will require the Expansion Pack add-on, which is also required to play N64 and Sega games and costs $49.99 / €39.99 / £ 34.99 for a 12-month individual membership, while a Family Membership will cost $79.99 / €69.99 / £ 59.99 for 12 months.
Both libraries launch today with a selection of games, with more to come in the future.

- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
- Link’s Awakening DX
- Tetris
- Gargoyle’s Quest
- Game & Watch Gallery 3
- Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
- Metroid II: Return of Samus
- Wario Land 3
- Kirby’s Dream Land
The Game Boy Advance games available today are:
- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3
- WarioWare, Inc: Mega Microgame$
- Kuru Kuru Kururin
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Nintendo has also confirmed some of the games that will be coming to the service in the future.
Upcoming Game Boy games include The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons / Ages, Pokemon: Trading Card Game and Kirby Tilt & Tumble.
Upcoming Game Boy Advance games include Metroid Fusion, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Fire Emblem, F-Zero Maximum Velocity and Golden Sun.
