Fortnite is getting its own unique Nintendo Switch hardware

Nintendo will release special edition Fortnite Nintendo Switch hardware on October 30, it’s announced.

The Fortnite Special Edition bundle – which is so far only confirmed for Europe – will include Switch hardware with a unique design on its console and dock, as well as exclusive yellow and blue Joy-Con controllers.

The bundle comes with Fortnite pre-installed and a Wildcat Bundle download code, which gives users access to the Wildcat Outfit, two additional styles, and 2000 V-Bucks.

Since its launch on Nintendo Switch in June 2018, Fortnite has become the most downloaded game ever launched on Nintendo hardware in Europe, it’s said.

Following the battle royale title’s removal from Android and iOS devices, Nintendo Switch remains one of the only ways to play it portably.
