First The Outer Worlds 2 gameplay debuted

Obsidian has debuted the first gameplay from The Outer Worlds 2.

The trailer, which can be viewed below, shows off several locations from the game, which the trailer says is “almost certainly 2 times bigger.”

The game is due for release in 2025 on Xbox Series, PC, and PlayStation 5.

The Outer Worlds 2 was announced in 2021 with a trailer claiming that the game was nowhere near ready.

Fallout creator Tim Cain is consulting on the game.

The veteran game developer, best known for his work on the post-apocalyptic RPG franchise, is working with Obisian on its upcoming sequel.

Speaking to Rock, Paper, Shotgun, Cain said, “There’s stuff they’re trying to do in the sequel, that of course I can’t talk about, that I get pulled in on because it’s similar to stuff I’ve done in the past.

“Sometimes it’s just me saying, ‘I’m not gonna tell you what to do, but here are the pitfalls. Here are some of the huge, huge chasms that lie in your way, that you’re gonna have to wend around.”
