First Play: Watch as we take on the ’90s anime-inspired Mullet MadJack
Watch the first 15 minutes of the latest Xbox Game Pass title
The latest Xbox Game Pass title has an interesting art style, so we’ve captured the opening section for you to watch in a First Play video.
Mullet MadJack was released on PC last year, and passed a lot of console players by. It was recently released on Xbox, however, and was also added to Game Pass, making this the perfect time to have a look at the game in action.
As the name suggests, our First Play series has us playing a game for the first time and recording our immediate reaction to it as we do.
It’s our way of giving coverage to non-AAA games that we may not currently have the time to review in full, but nevertheless want to feature on VGC.
There are two versions of the video – a standard YouTube version (which you can either see at the top of this article or on our YouTube channel), and one for our Patreon subscribers.
The standard YouTube version is 15 minutes long and see us making our way halfway up the game’s first tower, showing its fast-paced, time-based gameplay mechanics.
Patreon subscribers on any paid tier can gain access to a longer 25-minute, ad-free version of the video, in which we attempt to make our way up to the top of the tower and take on the first boss.
