WWE 2K25 video released, with more details coming later this month
WWE has teased when the first details of WWE 2K25 will be announced and given the first look at the game.
During Monday Night Raw’s debut on Netflix this week, a short vignette played showing WWE Superstar Roman Reigns walking backstage with Paul Heyman.
Following a short conversation, Reigns revealed that he’ll have a big announcement to make on Monday, January 27, before walking into a room with a WWE 2K25 logo on it.
WWE 2K25 is expected to be released in March, which has become the traditional release time for the annual wrestling series.
Immediately following this, the first screenshots of the game were published, featuring CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and others. The game is available to be wishlited on Steam. 2K has also confirmed that that game will be released for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, and Xbox One.
“WWE 2K returns bigger, bolder, and better than ever in a breakthrough year for the franchise! WWE 2K25 is preparing to charge down the ramp with all the authenticity and action fans love from the best in sports entertainment,” reads a short blurb on the 2K website.
The fifth and final main WWE 2K24 DLC pack was released in November.
2K has permanently discontinued online services for WWE 2K23. The game, which was released for consoles and PC in March 2023, was delisted from digital marketplaces in November 2024.
