First Black Ops Cold War multiplayer footage shows Miami firefight
Official multiplayer reveal is due on September 9
The first footage of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s multiplayer mode has appeared online, ahead of a planned official reveal next week.
As reported by Modern Warzone, the footage was streamed by a Twitch user on Thursday and shows night gameplay on a Miami-themed map. Players are prompted to protect the VIP until extraction in a 6v6 setup with a revive system.
Health bars are visible above enemies as they are killed, the publication notes, and it appears that the TTK (time to kill) is higher than in 2019’s Modern Warfare.
There’s also no tactical sprint and Field Upgrades appear to have returned from previous Black Ops games, such as the Camera Mic.
Key content creators are said to have played this alpha version of Cold War, with footage expected to arrive following the official multiplayer reveal on September 9.
