Fire Emblem: Three Houses is adding a fourth house
The Ashen Wolves will join the Switch game in February
Fire Emblem: Three Houses will receive a fourth house, the Ashen Wolves, as part of the game’s expansion pass DLC in February.
The Cindered Shadows side story will launch in the US on February 12 and in the UK the following day.
A description accompanying the DLC reveal trailer above reads: “Deep in the shadow of Garreg Mach lies Abyss, the underground den of Fódlan’s outcasts and home to the monastery’s secret fourth house, the Ashen Wolves.
“In this side story, you can freely explore Abyss, battle alongside four students from the Ashen Wolves house, take on new quests, and uncover the secrets that reside beneath the surface.
“Progress through the story to bring your four new subterranean students to the main story as recruitable units and enjoy the new classes, quests, paralogues, and activities that are also added with this DLC.”
The game’s expansion pass is priced at $24.99 / £22.49. Previously released DLC includes new costumes, battle maps and quests.
The Switch exclusive turn-based strategy game received strong critical acclaim upon its July 2019 release, including a 4/5 score in VGC’s Fire Emblem: Three Houses review.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s fifth DLC fighter is Fire Emblem: Three Houses’ Byleth, game director Masahiro Sakurai also announced on Thursday.
