Final Fantasy VIII Remastered dated
Game hitting PC and consoles in early September
Square Enix has confirmed a Final Fantasy VIII Remastered release date of September 3, 2019.
Players will get to relive Squall’s fight against the Galbadian forces on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Announced at E3 in June, Square Enix says the remaster “brings the game’s classic story to modern platforms, now with newly rendered visuals that bring the game’s characters to life like never before”.
Fans of the series will have to have to wait a little longer for Final Fantasy VII Remake, which will release exclusively for PS4 on March 3, 2020.
It was revealed in June that Sony Pictures Television is partnering with Square Enix to develop a live-action Final Fantasy series.
