Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth director and others promoted at Square Enix

Final Fantasy publisher Square Enix has appointed several new executive officers, including Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth director Naoki Hamaguchi.

Executive officers carry out decisions made by the company’s board and are responsible for specific parts of the company.

Tomoya Asano, producer of the Octopath Traveller and Bravely Default games, is also among those promoted to an executive officer position.
