February’s PlayStation Plus Essential games have been revealed, including Payday 3
Sony has confirmed February’s 2025’s first PlayStation Plus titles
Sony Interactive Entertainment has revealed February 2025’s PlayStation Plus Essential games.
February’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are Payday 3 (PS5), High on Life (PS4, PS5) and Pac-Man World Re-Pac (PS4, PS5).
They’ll be available for subscribers to claim from February 4 until March 3.
Sony has also announced plans to shift away from providing PS4 games as part of its monthly PlayStation Plus offerings.
Starting in January 2026, “PS4 games will no longer be a key benefit” of the service, with Sony instead turning its focus to offering PS5 titles.
As ever, February’s Essential games will be available for anyone with a PlayStation Plus membership, regardless of tier.
They will remain in the player’s library for as long as they continue to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription. If their subscription ends, so too will access to the games, but rejoining the service will make them available again.
Subscribers to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers also receive access to the Game Catalog, a library of downloadable PS4 and PS5 titles.
This month’s new releases include God of War Ragnarök, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, and Atlas Fallen: Reign of Sand.
PlayStation Plus Premium also offers a range of PS1, PS2 and PSP games to download, and PS3 games via cloud streaming.
This month’s additions to the Classics Catalog include Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings and Medievil 2.
Sony also confirmed today that PC players will soon no longer require a PlayStation Network account to play its first-party games, but having one will now also unlock in-game content.
