Fast & Furious game in development at Project CARS studio

Crossroads to feature Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez

Slightly Mad Studios, the Project Cars developer recently acquired by Codemasters, has announced a game based on movie series Fast & Furious.

The game was announced at The Game Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, where actor Vin Diesel appeared on stage.

Fast & Furious Crossroads is published by Bandai Namco and set for release on PS4, Xbox One and PC in May 2020.

Crossroads is described as a team-based, vehicular-heist action game set in the Fast & Furious universe. The game will have a story mode featuring characters from the movies, as well as a soon-to-be-revealed multiplayer mode.

Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Tyrese Gibson will reprise their roles as Dom, Letty, and Roman, and joining the cast are Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) and Asia Kate Dillon (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum).

“As huge fans of the franchise, it’s an honor to be able to expand the Fast & Furious franchise into the world of video games with a brand new story, the introduction of a new crew with ties to beloved characters, and iconic and stunning set pieces,” said Andy Tudor, Slightly Mad’s chief creative officer.

“With Easter eggs throughout for fans and an intense multiplayer experience, Fast & Furious Crossroads is a thrilling collision course that puts players behind the wheel.”
