Far Cry 6’s Joseph: Collapse DLC arrives next week
Players take on the role of Far Cry 5’s villain in the add-on
Ubisoft has confirmed a February 8 release date for Far Cry 6’s Joseph: Collapse DLC.
The third and final major DLC included with the game’s Season Pass will be available for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Stadia, and PC through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store.
“Players will embody Joseph Seed, the iconic villain from Far Cry 5, in a twisted version of Hope County, Montana for a brand-new experience inspired by the roguelite genre,” according to the game’s publisher.
“Blending intense action and storytelling, Joseph: Collapse will provide a unique opportunity for players to tap into Joseph’s tortured mind, face off against his former cult followers after his faith has collapsed, and ultimately confront his family members as he struggles to conquer his inner demons.”
The game’s previously released Season Pass DLC lets users play as Far Cry 3 villain Vaas and Far Cry 4 antagonist Pagan Min.
A new Far Cry 6 mission based on the Rambo movies was added to the game earlier this week, but the titular action hero isn’t actually in it.
Ubisoft confirmed last November that the most senior creative behind the Far Cry franchise had left the company after more than 10 years.
Far Cry 7 could shake-up the series with a greater focus on online play, it has been claimed.
