Fallout 76’s 2021 content roadmap has been revealed, covering seasons 4-7
SPECIAL Loadouts, CAMP slots, Brotherhood of Steel’s conclusion and the “evolution of private worlds”
Bethesda has detailed Fallout 76’s 2021 content roadmap, covering seasons 4-7.
Spring’s Season 4 update will introduce SPECIAL Loadouts, which offer level 25 players the ability to freely reboot all of their SPECIAL points whenever they’re in CAMP.
It will also add CAMP slots, enabling players to build multiple different CAMPs, and an expansion to Daily Ops including a new Decryption game mode. These new features can already be sampled on the public test server.
Launching this summer, Season 5 will conclude the year-long Brotherhood of Steel story arc with new quests, NPCs, locations and rewards.
Season 6 promises to deliver “the next evolution of private worlds” when it arrives in the fall/autumn, plus another Daily Ops expansion.
Season 7 will feature an extraterrestrial event in the form of a new public challenge called Invaders from Beyond, plus four-star legendary weapons/armor and CAMP Pets.
Fallout 76 introduced its seasonal structure in the summer of 2020, shortly before the title joined Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft recently added a large number of Bethesda titles to Game Pass following its acquisition of the company.
Fallout 76 was one of five Bethesda games subsequently updated to enable FPS Boost, increasing its frame rate from 30fps to nearly 60fps on Xbox Series X/S.
