Fall Guys and Madden NFL 21 topped August’s PlayStation Store download charts

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout and Madden NFL 21 topped the PlayStation Store download charts in August 2020.

In Europe, Fall Guys took the top spot ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Minecraft, Ghost of Tsushima and UFC 4.

In the US, Madden NFL 21 claimed the No.1 position ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Ghost of Tsushima, Fall Guys and UFC 4.

The European and US PS VR download charts are even more similar than the PS4 ones. They both feature the same top eight games, headed by Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series, Beat Saber and Superhot VR.

It’s a similar story for free-to-play games, with the top six chart entries the same in both Europe and the US. Hyper Scape claimed the No.1 spot ahead of Warzone, Fortnite, Apex Legend, Brawlhalla and Destiny 2.

Fall Guys released for PS4 and Steam on August 4, with the console version available for free to PlayStation Plus members last month.

The Devolver-published game has sold more than seven million copies on Steam and has also become the most downloaded PS Plus game of all time on a global basis, according to Sony.
