Elden Ring spoilers are appearing online ahead of next week’s release
Bandai Namco is attempting to stop footage from being published online
Fans eagerly awaiting next week’s Elden Ring release should tread carefully online as new spoilers are doing the rounds and more are likely to follow.
A couple of players who have managed to obtain Elden Ring early have reportedly been streaming it on Twitch.
The game’s intro cinematic has also been released online, as have revealing screengrabs and gameplay details.
While publisher Bandai Namco is seemingly doing its best to suppress the leaks, players are nevertheless advised to be careful if they want to avoid any spoilers before the game’s official release.
Following a one-month delay, Elden Ring will be released on February 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki recently discussed From Software’s approach to striking the right balance between difficulty and accessibility with its latest game.
In a PlayStation Blog interview, the Japanese designer best known as the creator of Demon’s Souls and the Dark Souls series said From Software hasn’t purposefully tried to make Elden Ring easier than its previous games.
However, he expects its open-world structure and more accessible multiplayer offering will result in a greater number of players finishing the upcoming title.
Elden Ring producer Yasuhiro Kitao also recently said the game can be completed in around 30 hours if players just follow the main route.
