Elden Ring global release times confirmed, including an early start for some PC players
Pre-load times also announced
Bandai Namco has confirmed global release times for Elden Ring.
Following a one-month delay, Elden Ring will officially be released on February 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
However, the exact launch time depends on your time zone and chosen platform, with PC players in some regions set to gain access ahead of console owners (see image below).
In the US, for example, the PC version of Elden Ring will be playable six hours earlier than the console version.
Bandai Namco also said the game is now available to pre-load for Xbox players. PlayStation and PC players will be able to pre-load Elden Ring 48 hours prior to its release local time.
Fans eagerly awaiting this week’s Elden Ring release should tread carefully online as spoilers are currently doing the rounds.
Last week, a couple of players who managed to obtain Elden Ring early reportedly started streaming the game on Twitch.
Elden Ring’s intro cinematic has also been released online, as have revealing screengrabs and gameplay details.
Bandai Namco is attempting to suppress the leaks, which it acknowledged in a message posted on the game’s official Twitter account today.
“Greetings Tarnished,” it reads. “With the release of Elden Ring promptly approaching, please be mindful of spoilers for those who wish to experience The Lands Between for the first time with unclouded eyes. Thank you for your kind cooperation.”
