eFootball celebrates 750 million downloads with special events and items
Konami’s free-to-play football game has racked up over 50 million downloads in 2024
eFootball has hit another major download milestone, according publisher Konami.
It said this week that the free-to-play football game has reached 750 million downloads across all platforms, which is up from 700 million reported in January.
The company is celebrating the milestone with a three-week in-game campaign featuring events to play, items to collect and prizes to win.
These include the return of three Epic Lionel Messi cards, each one commemorating a ‘Big Time’ performance from the Argentinian over the years.

From April 25 until May 16, Konami will be offering log in bonuses totalling 70 eFootball coins, seven position training programs, and seven skill training programs.
Players will also receive a free Barcelona Highlight Lewandowski card as a log in bonus.
Until May 2, there’s a special list of Highlight cards of Inter Milan players, with one available to players as a free log in too.
By completing Campaign Achievements, Konami said players will be able to earn up to 360,000 GP, 250 eFootball coins, 102,000 Exp, five skill programs, and three Highlight: European Clubs Chance Deals.
Until June 6, eFootball coins are also discounted and there’s 50% off the price of Value and Premium Match Passes.
