Edge magazine veterans launch ON, a print gaming periodical

Veterans of long-running print gaming magazine Edge have launched ON, a new gaming periodical.

ON: Volume One is available now, with eight different covers to choose from. Each volume is priced at £24.99. The first volume is available exclusively in the UK. A second volume is currently in production.

“The ultimate celebration of gaming’s past, present, and future – ON: Volume One is a premium games journal with outstanding writers, fantastic design, and luxurious print quality,” reads a synopsis for ON on its website.

Contributors to ON: Volume One include Keith Stuart and Keza MacDonald, both from The Guardian, Jen Simpkins, former Edge editor and ex-Media Molecule developer, magazine veteran and Tune & Fairweather art director Andrew Hind, ex-Edge editor Nathan Brown, ex-Eurogamer writer Christian Donlan, ex-Edge editor Margaret Robertson, and television writer and games critic Yussef Cole.

“Edge veterans Andrew Hind and Nathan Brown created ON gave the very best writers in the industry freedom to write their dream feature and combined those words with bold and experimental design,” reads the website.

The eight covers available for the first issue feature Cyberpunk 2077, Hades 2, Mario, Tetris, Infinity Nikki, Earthbound, Virtua Racing, and the ON: Volume One logo. The entire set is available for a discounted price of £169.00
